How to Make

  • Step 1: Place apples in the slow-cooker & drizzle w/lemon juice.

  • Step 2: Mix the next 5 ingredients (granulated sugar thru nutmeg) in a med bowl. Sprinkle mixture over the apples & stir gently to coat them w/the mixture.

  • Step 3: Drizzle the coated apples w/the melted butter.

  • Step 4: Cook on LOW for 3 hrs or HIGH for 2 hrs (until apples are done).

  • Step 5: Allow mixture to cool, transfer to a container w/a lid & store in your fridge until ready for use.

  • SERVING SUGGESTIONS: May be used chilled, at room temp or warmed to top ice cream, bread pudding, rice pudding, pancakes, waffles, French toast, oatmeal, etc. For my pic, I served the apple mixture atop a waffle w/whipped cream as a brunch dessert.
