Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 2/3 cups self-rising flour
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dill
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt flakes
  • 250 gram Greek yogurt
  • 4 slices (60 grams) cheddar cheese
  • Water, to brush
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How to Make

  • Step 1: On a clean work surface, combine flour, parsley, dill, baking powder and salt and make a well at the centre and add yoghurt and mix and knead until a soft dough forms.

  • Step 2: Divide dough into 8 equal ports.

  • Step 3: Using a rolling pin, roll out each portion to a 16cm round and place cheese slices on 4 of the rounds and brush around cheese with water and then top with remaining portions and press edges to seal.

  • Step 4: Heat oil in a large frying pan over moderate heat and cook flatbreads for 2 minutes each side or until golden and cooked.
