Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 cans (15 1/4 ounce) peaches in heavy syrup (3 cans each 15 1/4 ounce of DelMonte peaches in heavy syrup, READ INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRAINING ONE CAN ONLY)
  • 1 box (15.25 ounce) Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • FOR THE TOPPING
  • Powdered sugar
  • Whipped cream
  • Vanilla ice cream

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2: In a greased 13×9-inch or other shallow 3-qt. baking dish, dump TWO cans of peaches and the syrup from the cans. DRAIN the third can, and add ONLY the peaches to the baking dish.

  • Step 3: Top peaches with dry cake mix; spread it out evenly across the entire surface of peaches.

  • Step 4: Drizzle cake mix with melted butter.

  • Step 5: Bake 55 minutes to 1 hour or until top is deep golden brown and fruit is bubbly. Dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream before serving, if desired.
