Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 12 asparagus spears, ends snapped off, steamed for 5 minutes
  • 12 slices square white sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 4 ounces blue cheese
  • 1 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

How to Make

  • Step 1: Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin until it is less than 1/4 inch

  • Step 2: Mix together the blue cheese, worchestershire sauce, beatedn egg, creamcheese and garlic powder

  • Step 3: Spread on the 12 slices of flattened bread, go right to the edges.

  • Step 4: Put an asparagus spear on the edge of each slice and roll tightly like a jelly roll

  • Step 5: Paint the outside of each with butter

  • Step 6: Cut each into 3 pieces so you end up with 36

  • Step 7: Place each seam side down on a cookie sheet

  • Step 8: Bake in 375f oven for 5 minutes, turn them over and bake another 5 minutes or until the are golden. Serve warm
