  • 2 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 package (12 ounce) butterscotch morsels
  • 1 jar (10 ounce) marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1 teaspoon rum extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan; stir well.

  • Step 2: Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage (238°), stirring occasionally.

  • Step 3: Remove from heat; add butterscotch morsels and marshmallow cream, stirring until melted.

  • Step 4: Add walnuts, raisins, and flavorings. Stir well.

  • Step 5: Spread into two greased 8 inch square pans. Let cool in pans on a wire rack; cut into squares.
