Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 cups dry wine (full-bodied dry wine such as Merlot or Chardonnay)
  • 2 cups simple syrup
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 3 fluid ounces white rum (preferably Bacardi)
  • 3 fluid ounces gin
  • 1 fluid ounce liqueur (triple sec, or other orange liqueur
  • 1 fluid ounce brandy
  • Ice cubes
  • Seasonal fresh fruit, chopped (about 3 to 3-1/2 cups should do it)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine the wine, simple syrup, orange and pineapple juice, rum, gin, triple sec, and brandy in a large glass pitcher. Cover and refrigerate for at least 12 hours or up to 24 hours.

  • Step 2: Fill wine glass with ice and arrange 1/4 cup of the chopped fruit in each. Pour the sangria into the glasses and serve.
