Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2: Grease a 9 inch springform pan with butter and coat the bottom and sides with bread crumbs; discard any excess.
Step 3: In a bowl whisk the 10 tablespoons of butter with the sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt. Add the eggs, one at a time and whisk until smooth. Fold the flour into the batter until combined.
Step 4: Scrape batter into prepared pan, smoothing the top.
Step 5: Bake for 10 minutes or until cake forms a thin skin on top but batter is still loose in the center. Transfer to a rack and let cool completely and then chill for one hour.
Step 6: Unmold and serve with whipped cream.
