Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds cucumbers (4 pickle cucumbers, cut in quarters lengthwise)
  • 2 jalapeno peppers (fresh, sliced)
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh dill
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

How to Make

  • Step 1: Make sure your mason jar, lid and rings are sterile.

  • Step 2: Put all the cucumber in the jar. Add the sliced jalapeno's, smashed garlic, and fresh dill.

  • Step 3: To a medium pot add the vinegar, water, salt and sugar. Bring to a boil till sugar is dissolved.

  • Step 4: Pour the pickle mixture over the pickles in mason jar.

  • Step 5: Refrigerate for at about 1 week.
