Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (white)
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoons salt
  • 1 package (12 ounce) semi-sweet chocolate chips
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Into your stand mixer or large mixing bowl place the softened butter, white sugar and dark brown sugar. Beat on medium speed until the mixture is well combined (about 2 minutes).

  • Step 3: Add the eggs and beat for an additional 1 minute. Add the vanilla and beat just until it's mixed in.

  • Step 4: In a separate bowl combine the flour, soda, cocoa and salt. Add it to the creamed mixture and mix until combined.

  • Step 5: Add the chocolate chips. Mix just until combined.

  • Step 6: Bake for 7-8 minutes, or just until the tops of the cookies are cracked. You want to be sure not to over bake here. The cookies will be super soft and chewy if they are underbaked just a bit. Remove the pans from the oven and allow them to continue cooking on the hot cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
