  • 2 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sambal oelek (chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, quartered
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • Gingerroot (peeled, 1-inch piece, minced)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl, stirring with a whisk; set aside.

  • Step 2: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add sprouts to pan.

  • Step 3: Cook 4 minutes or until beginning to brown.

  • Step 4: Stir in butter; cook 4 minutes or until caramelize and crisp-tender.

  • Step 5: Add shallot, ginger, and garlic to pan; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.

  • Step 6: Add lime juice mixture to pan; cook 3 minutes or until syrupy. Stir in green onions and cilantro.

  • Step 7: Serve immediately.
