Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (dark)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek (chile paste)
  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless boneless chicken thighs (8 thighs)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine first 8 ingredient in a bowl, stirring with a whisk. Set aside half of the mixture. Add chicken to the bowl and toss. (can let marinade in fridge at this time)

  • Step 2: Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Coat with cooking spray.

  • Step 3: Add chicken; cook 5 minutes on each side or until done.

  • Step 4: Transfer chicken to a platter; drizzle with remaining soy mixture.
