  • 470 grams coconut milk (2 cups)
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 white onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3 thai chilis, chopped (optional and to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oil in a skillet. Sauté garlic and onion until softened.

  • Step 2: Add the pork and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, or until color turns medium brown

  • Step 3: Add the black pepper, shrimp paste, and chili. Stir to combine.

  • Step 4: Add the coconut milk and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes.

  • Step 5: Add the green beans. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Serve with white rice.
