Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon rind, grated
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Butter & cover 24 tins w/the pastry of your choice. Mix all ingredients well, beating a little. Fill tins half way. Bake in a preheated 375 F (190 C) oven for about 20 min or until cream is solid. Remove tarts from tins while hot & allow to fully cool.

  • NOTE FROM ME: For the record, this suggestion was NOT A PART OF THE RECIPE, but I believe that almost every convenience food has a place in my kitchen & this is definitely 1 of those times. I'd be buying some prepared tart shells or rolled dough & moving on w/the real heart of the recipe -- its cream filling.
