Step 1: Bake sweet potatoes still done in the oven--about 1 hour.
Step 2: While potatoes are baking, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, pecans or walnuts, brown sugar, nutmeg, and set aside.
Step 3: When potatoes are done, scoop them out and cut into small to medium pieces and arrange them in a single layer, closely touching, in a baking dish.
Step 4: Add the soft butter to the graham cracker mixture and work with your fingers till crumbly; crumble all of the topping randomly over the sweet potatoes and cover with plastic wrap.
Step 5: When ready to serve, microwave on medium till the potatoes are hot.
