Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts (cleaned, cut in half lengthwise, thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (lite)
  • 2 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1/2 cup sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ginger root (finely chopped, fresh)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the oil over medium high heat, in a non stick skillet.

  • Step 2: Add the sprouts stir fry for about 8 minutes or until they begin to brown. Add onion, ginger & garlic. Toss to mix evenly.

  • Step 3: Season with salt & pepper.

  • Step 4: Add water. Cover, lower heat a bit. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the sprouts and onions are tender. Watch that it doesn't brown too much.
