Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound extra lean ground beef
  • 1 jar (650 ml) pasta sauce (Classico di Napoli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce)
  • 2 cups water
  • 12 ounces dry pasta shells (medium pasta shells)
  • 1 container (475 grams) part skim ricotta cheese
  • 1 3/4 cups shredded cheese (of your choice)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown the beef in a large skillet.

  • Step 2: Stir in Pasta sauce and water. Bring to a boil.

  • Step 3: Add Pasta. Simmer on low 15 minutes or until shells are tender, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 4: Stir in the ricotta. Cook covered 5 minutes.

  • Step 5: Stir in 1 cup shredded cheese.

  • Step 6: Remove from heat.

  • Step 7: Top with remaining cheese.

  • Step 8: Cover and let it stand until cheese is melted (apprx. 5 minutes).
