Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 pound beef chuck roast
  • 1 lemon, whole (zested and juiced)
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups tomatoes, chopped (canned tomatoes, called for 303 can)
  • 2 cups green peas (canned peas, called for 303 can)
  • 1 can (12 ounce) whole kernel corn
  • 1 red bell pepper (I'm guessing bell but could be hot)
  • 1 tablespoon salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1 1/2 pounds potatoes (cut up, 4 potatoes)
  • Tabasco, dash

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook beef for 2 hours until you can shred it.

  • Step 2: Add everything but potatoes and Tabasco. Cook 1 more hour.

  • Step 3: Then add the rest, cooking until potatoes fall apart and can mash into stew )may need to add more water).
