Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 8 slices (8 ounces) bacon
  • 3 ounces yogurt (plain yogurt, Greek-style suggested, 1/3 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, chopped
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely minced (may use 2 cloves of roasted garlic)
  • 8 slices (8 ounces) white bread (toasted, sandwich bread)
  • 2 beefsteak (1 1/4 pounds) tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 avocado (peeled, seeded & sliced)
  • Lettuce leaves, as desired
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook bacon in a lrg skillet over med heat until crisp (12-15 min).

  • Step 2: In a sml bowl, combine yogurt, oregano & garlic plus salt & pepper to taste.

  • Step 3: Divide the bacon, garlic mayo, tomatoes, avocado & lettuce leaves among 4 slices of the bread. Add more salt & pepper as desired & top w/the other 4 slices of bread.
