Step 1: Beat brown sugar & cream cheese at med speed w/an electric mixer until smooth. Add sour cream, vanilla & coffee liqueur (if using). Beat until blended & smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Cover & chill 4 hrs. Garnish w/brown sugar prior to serving, if desired.
Step 2: YIELD = 10 servings (approx 3 oz per person)
Step 3: TO SERVE: Serve w/assorted fresh fruit (pineapple & strawberries suggested). This dip also works very well w/baked goods including cookies, shortbread, cubed pound cake, etc.
