How to Make

  • FOR THE RUM SOAKED CHERRIES

  • Step 1: Combine the cherries, rum and water in a glass container and let soak for a day, or at least a few hours. Will keep up to 4 days.

  • FOR THE COCKTAIL

  • Step 2: Pour the rum, liqueur and cane syrup into a mixing glass. Add dashes of both bitters.

  • Step 3: Add ice and stir gently to incorporate.

  • Step 4: Strain over a Double Rocks glass full of ice. The drink will appear “short,” but that's ok. The drink will also settle.

  • Step 5: Add the last dash of orange bitters. Garnish with a rum soaked cherry and a slice of orange on a skewer.
