Step 1: Toss bread crumbs with chopped onions, nutmeg, salt & Pepper.
Step 2: Add beef, mix lightly.
Step 3: Form into 4 patties 1/2" thick.
Step 4: Heat lightly oiled skillet over medium heat.
Step 5: Add patties, cook 5-6 minutes each side.
Step 6: Remove from pan.
Step 7: In a bowl mix the cornstarch, boullion & water.
Step 8: In the same skillet melt butter, add mushrooms and sliced onions.
Step 9: Saute for about 5 minutes, stirring often.
Step 10: Stir in the cornstarch mixture.
Step 11: Cook until thickened.
Step 12: Add patties back.
Step 13: Turn to coat.
Step 14: Heat through.
Step 15: Ready to serve.
