  • 16 ounces smoked sausage (beef sausage, sliced thick)
  • 2 yellow onions sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter (it called for chicken fat)
  • 2 1/4 pounds potatoes (6 potatoes, boiled and sliced)
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, minced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Saute onion in butter until light golden, dont brown.

  • Step 2: Layer in greased Pam sprayed casserole, the potatoes onions sausage.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle caraway and parsley over each layer then repeat.

  • Step 4: Into stock, add salt pepper and paprika.

  • Step 5: Pour over layers.

  • Step 6: Cover bake 375 for 30 minutes.
