Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast (or thigh)
  • 2 tablespoons oil (avocado oil)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup liquid aminos (coconut)
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon coconut (or brown sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ground ginger
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cut chicken into strips or chunks and lightly brown in oil over med-high heat.

  • Step 2: Mix together the next 10 ingredients (I use a shaker cup)

  • Step 3: When the chicken starts to brown a bit, pour in sauce and turn up the heat.

  • Step 4: When the sauce has come to a boil, turn down and simmer for about 20 minutes until sauce thickens and meat is cooked through.
