  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons shortening (it called for 1)
  • 3/4 cup milk

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening, then mix in milk.

  • Step 2: Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness.

  • Step 3: Cut with 2 inch biscuit cutter. Fold in half

  • Step 4: Butter them (I sprayed butter flavored Pam).

  • Step 5: Cover, let rise 10 minutes (it said 20 minutes).

  • Step 6: Bake in hot oven 425 degrees).

  • Step 7: Butter them again.
