  • 1 pounds lean sausage meat
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook sausage then remove from pan (drain excess drippings).

  • Step 2: Add hominy, onions and sage broken apart, to drippings in pan, cook until onions lightly browned. the hominy likes to pop out of pan so cover

  • Step 3: Crumble sausage and add to mixture in pan. Heat slowly.
