  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise (do not use salad dressing)
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk (more added in after to thin if desired)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce (or to taste)
  • 3 tablespoons yellow onion, minced (1 small onion)
  • 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry Italian seasoning, rubbed
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste
