  • 24 ounces pork loin chops (4 bone-in chops, 1/2 inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil (canola oil)
  • 1 can condensed (10 3/4 ounces) cream of onion soup (undiluted)
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4 ounces sour cream (1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 package shredded (16 ounces) frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup, divided)
  • 1 can (2.8 ounces) french-fried onions (divided)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Sprinkle pork chops with seasoned salt.

  • Step 2: In a large skillet, brown chops on both sides in oil. Add onion.

  • Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the soup, milk, sour cream, salt and pepper; stir in hash browns, 3/4 cup cheese and half of the onions.

  • Step 4: Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Arrange pork chops on top.

  • Step 5: Cover and bake at 350° for 60 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with the remaining cheese and onions.

  • Step 6: Bake, uncovered, 10 minutes longer or until meat juices run clear.
