Step 1: Place the chicken pieces on a baking sheet, skin side up and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Place on top rack of oven and broil for 7 to 10 minutes, just until skin starts to bubble.
Step 3: Remove from oven and reduce heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 4: Place chicken pieces in a baking dish and pour sauce over chicken pieces.
Step 5: Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until cooked through.
Step 6: Remove cover and cook for another 15 minutes.
Step 7: You can broil the chicken pieces, skin side up, for a couple of minutes if you want a crispier skin, this is optional.
