Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 10 pounds potatoes (cooked, chopped)
  • 12 large eggs (chopped)
  • 2 carrots (shredded)
  • 5 cups mayonnaise (more or less, Hellman`s)
  • 2 tablespoons dried dill weed
  • 2 tablespoons mustard (old fashioned grainy mustard)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix together all the ingredients, using only 4 cups of mayonnaise adding more of the mayonnaise as needed.

  • Step 2: Refrigerate for a few hour before serving. I make this in the morning to allow the flavours to meld together nicely.
