Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings (about 25 wings)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Cayenne pepper (to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl, combine olive oil and next 8 ingredients until well blended.

  • Step 2: Place the wings into a large bowl. Pour the oil mixture over, then using your hands fitted with plastic or rubber gloves mix/massage the oil mixture into the chicken.

  • Step 3: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. (bottom rack).

  • Step 4: Generously spray a baking sheet with cooking spray (use must coat it well with spray, because of the brown sugar the wings will stick!).

  • Step 5: Remove the chicken from oil mixture allowing any excess to drip off. Place wings on baking sheet.

  • Step 6: Bake for 30-35 minutes, using metal tongs to turn at halftime.
