Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (I use a sugar substitute)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (I use 1 teaspoon)
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce (Sriracha, or other hot sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (if thickening for sauce)

How to Make

  • Step 1: For marinade - in a small saucepan combine all ingredients except the cornstarch.

  • Step 2: Over medium heat cook three minutes.

  • Step 3: If thickening for sauce, remove a small amount of the marinade add the cornstarch whisk and add back in, cook for 3 minutes.
