Step 1: Combine first 6 ingredients (cherries - apples) in a bowl, toss. Spoon mixture into a 11 x 7 inch baking dish which has been coated with cooking spray.
Step 2: In a food processor place the dry ingredients (flour - mace); pulse 5 times or until combined. Add butter and pulse 20 times or until mixture resembles crumbs. Add oats and sugar; pulse 5 times or until combined.
Step 3: Sprinkle oat mixture over pear mixture.
Step 4: Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour or until topping is golden and filling is bubbly.
Step 5: Cool on rack for 10 minutes before serving.
