Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 (8 ounces) boneless chicken breast
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (white)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (red ground sweet)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups beer
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a deep skillet heat the oil.

  • Step 2: Chop coarsely the onion and lightly fry it in the heated oil.

  • Step 3: Add the chicken breasts and fry on the both sides until golden brown.

  • Step 4: Transfer the chicken breast with the onion in a plate, cover and keep warm.

  • Step 5: Add 1 more tbsp olive oil if needed, add the flour and stir until it becomes like a white sauce.

  • Step 6: Add the red paprika, continue stirring to dissolve it in the sauce, add the beer,

  • Step 7: Add the chicken with the onion, salt, and the parsley.

  • Step 8: Reduce heat on low and cook until about 30 minutes.

  • Step 9: Serve warm.

  • Step 10: Originally this recipe is served with a boiled white rice.
