Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces sliced bacon (6 slices, cooked and minced, mince the bacon in a food processor)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (more to brush on top of patties)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard powder
  • Hickory smoke flavor (2-3 drops)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  • Step 2: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with the onion, garlic powder, salt, minced bacon, cheese, and egg in a mixing bowl. Add ketchup and the remaining 5 ingredients.

  • Step 3: Divide into 5-6 patties and place on a roasting pan with a rack covered with aluminum foil and sprayed with cooking spray. Using a basting brush, cover the meatloaf patties with the ketchup.

  • Step 4: Bake at 400 for 35 to 40 minutes or until cooked through completely.
