Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 140 grams whole almonds (1 cup)
  • 60 grams sunflower seeds (1/2 cup, shelled)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dried cherries, chopped (tart)
  • 1/4 cup dried apricots, cut into thirds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: In a bowl combine the almonds and sunflower seeds. Spray with nonstick cooking spray; toss; spray again.

  • Step 3: Stir in honey, salt and vanilla.

  • Step 4: Spread mixture in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

  • Step 5: Bake for 10-15 minutes or until nuts are golden brown, stirring halfway through baking time. Let mixture cool completely on baking sheet and then transfer to bowl.

  • Step 6: Stir remaining ingredients (-sesame seeds) into mixture.

  • Step 7: Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
