Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Chicken bones (choose backs and necks or wings and chicken pieces)
  • 2 to 3 green onions, sliced (I use 3)
  • 2 to 3 slices ginger (root smashed)
  • 8 cups water (assure enough to cover)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place chicken bones,green onions and ginger root in large soup pot.

  • Step 2: Add water (assure chicken bones and pieces are covered)

  • Step 3: Over medium high heat bring to a boil, skim impurities that come to the top.

  • Step 4: Reduce heat, simmer 45 to 60 minutes.

  • Step 5: Strain.
