  • Step 1: Place ingredients in a 32-oz jar or pitcher and add filtered or sparkling water.

  • Step 2: Stir gently, cover, and refrigerate at least 1 hour.

  • Step 3: Store in refrigerator for up to 3 days.

  • Variations:

  • Step 4: One: 8 thin Granny Smith apple slices, 5 fresh ginger slices, 2 (1-inch) lemongrass sticks.

  • Step 5: Two: 5 cucumber slices, 2 sprigs fresh thyme, 4 tangering slices.

  • Step 6: Three: 4 red grapefruit slices, 2 sprigs fresh rosemary, 3 jalapeno slices (seeded).

  • Step 7: Four: 8 thin pear slices, 1 cinnamon stick, 1/2 vanilla bean.

  • Step 8: Five: 1 green tea bag, 2 sprigs fresh mint, 20 pomegranate arils, crushed.
