Step 1: Season the pork chops with garlic salt, pepper, and cayenne.
Step 2: Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 3: Lightly coat the chops in flour, shake off any excess, and place them into the pan. Brown well, about 3 minutes per side Remove chops to a plate and set aside.
Step 4: In the same skillet add the green peppers and onions and saute until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about one minute).
Step 5: Add in 1 1/2 tablespoons flour; whisk for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until bubbly and thickened, around 2 minutes.
Step 6: Add chops back to the pan. Add salt and pepper to you own taste. Cover the skillet with a tight-fitting lid, and allow to simmer for around 40-45 minutes or until chops are tender.
Step 7: Serve with mashed potatoes
