Step 1: Whisk together all marinade ingredients in a medium bowl.
Step 2: Place flank steak in a large, heavy-duty, resealable plastic bag.
Step 3: Add marinade and seal bag.
Step 4: Turn bag several times to coat the steak with marinade.
Step 5: Marinate in refrigerator for at least 2 hours or as long as 24 hours.
Step 6: Preheat grill to high setting.
Step 7: Remove steak from bag and place on a grill rack that has been lightly brushed with oil.
Step 8: Grill for about 6 minutes per side, or to desired degree of doneness.
Step 9: Let steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Step 10: To serve, slice thinly across the grain using a very sharp knife.
