  • 2 ounces bread slices (2 slices)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • FOR TOPPING
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • FOR SAUCE
  • 1 can (11 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Add milk to bread, then add in ground beef.

  • Step 2: Add seasoning, egg and sour cream. shape into balls.

  • Step 3: Roll balls in the crumbs.

  • Step 4: Fry balls in butter. When browned, place in 2 quart casserole dish.

  • Step 5: Mix sauce items together then pour over balls.

  • Step 6: Bake uncovered at 350 moderate oven for 40 minutes.
