Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 5 1/3 tablespoons butter, soft
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, large
  • 1 cup banana (mashed very ripe)
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (coarsely chopped)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Make sure all ingredients are room temperature.

  • Step 2: Whisk together first 4 ingredients and set aside.

  • Step 3: In a large bowl beat the butter and sugar on high speed for 2-3 minutes and then beat in the flour mixture till blended and the consistency of brown sugar.

  • Step 4: Gradually beat in the eggs; fold in bananas and nuts till combined.

  • Step 5: Bake in greased and floured loaf pan bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes of till done; cool on rack for 5-10 minutes and then take out of pan and cool on rack.
