Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil for baking dish)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for drizzling on chicken)
  • 2 1/2 pounds chicken drumsticks (10 drumsticks)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper, pinch of
  • FOR THE GLAZE
  • 6 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 4 teaspoons light soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons sesame oi

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the oven to 425°F. Lightly oil a large baking dish. Drizzle chicken pieces with olive oil and season the drumsticks with salt and pepper and arrange in the dish in a single layer. Bake in the hot oven for 20 minutes.

  • Step 2: Prepare the glaze in the meantime. Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl until evenly combined.

  • Step 3: Take the chicken out of the oven and pour a little of the glaze over it, to coat each drumstick. Only use more glaze as needed. Store the rest of the glaze in the frig for future use. Return chicken to the oven and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes, turning several times, until the chicken is tender and nicely glazed.
