Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli (florets, called for 400 grams which might be closer to 2 1/2 cups)
  • 2 cups goat cheese (chopped, called for 200 grams)
  • 4 sheets (76 grams) phyllo dough
  • 2 large eggs
  • 9 tablespoons cream (1.5 dl is what it called for)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for brushing phyllo ,melted)
  • 2 ounces pecan nuts (1/4 cup/ 12 whole is what it called for)
  • Nutmeg (6 pinches)
  • Salt (pinch)
  • White pepper (pinch)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Turn the oven to 425.

  • Step 2: Lightly grease a cake pan of 24 cm in diameter.

  • Step 3: Place the phyllo bricks leaves on each other buttering very slightly.

  • Step 4: Rinse the broccoli,

  • Step 5: Drain and separate them into tiny florets.

  • Step 6: Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk them with the cream.

  • Step 7: Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and broccoli and stir.

  • Step 8: Pour the mixture into sheets of pastry and sprinkle with coarsely chopped goat cheese.

  • Step 9: Add the pecans coarsely broken between your fingers

  • Step 10: And bake.

  • Step 11: Cook for about 35 minutes, until the pie is blonde.

  • Step 12: Let stand 5 minutes then slide onto a plate and serve.
