The ingredients are:
  • 4 ounces uncooked fettuccini pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 small celery rib
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas (or corn kernels)
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, cubed and very soft
  • 2/3 cup light cream (or can use milk)
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 (6-ounce) can solid white tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1/3 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the pasta until al dente; drain and set aside

  • Step 2: In a skillet melt butter over medium-high heat; add in onion and celery then cook until softened (about 3 minutes).

  • Step 3: Add in garlic; cook for 2 minutes.

  • Step 4: Add in peas or corn and stir until heated through.

  • Step 5: Reduce heat to medium then mix in the soft cream cheese, light cream or milk and pinch cayenne pepper stirring until smooth and combined.

  • Step 6: Mix in the tuna and Parmesan cheese until combined, then season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 7: Add in the pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, then serve immediately.
