Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2: Butter a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
Step 3: In a large bowl whisk together the dry ingredients (flour - baking soda). Stir in the green onions and jalapeños.
Step 4: In another bowl whisk together buttermilk and eggs and then whisk in the melted butter.
Step 5: Add wet to dry and stir until blended.
Step 6: Transfer batter to prepared pan.
Step 7: Ake for 25-30 minutes or until cornbread is browned on top and cake tester (toothpick) comes out clean.
Step 8: Transfer to a rack and let cornbread cool completely in pan.
