  • 1 cup butter (room temperature, 2 sticks, don't sub margarine)
  • 2 cups cake flour (you can use all purpose but cake flour makes a much softer cookie)
  • 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine all ingredients; use hands to knead until ingredients are blended. Gently press dough into ungreased pan/s. Before baking, mark rectangle cookie lines with knife to get an authentic bakery look.

  • Step 2: Bake at 325 degrees F for about 20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Don't over bake! these firm us more after resting.
