The ingredients are:
  • 250 grams sliced mushrooms (1/2 lb)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill seed
  • 1 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Shake of paprika (optional)
  • Toast to serve

How to Make

  • Step 1: Slice mushrooms through cap and stem.

  • Step 2: Melt the butter in a frying pan and add the mushroom's and cover pan.

  • Step 3: Cook, stirring occasionally over a medium heat, for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned.

  • Step 4: Stir in sour cream and seasonings, continue to stir over a low heat until completely heated through and slightly thickened.

  • Step 5: Sprinkle with paprika and serve with triangles of buttered toast.
