  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard

How to Make

  • Step 1: Beat together the egg and the milk; stir in cheese, oats, onion and salt.

  • Step 2: Add ground chuck and mix well.

  • Step 4: Combine ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spoon over the loaves.

  • Step 5: Bake, uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
