Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds cooked ham (4 cups fully cooked ham, cubed)
  • 1 yellow onion (medium onion, chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cans (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen, if using fresh, lightly steam first until just tender)
  • 240 grams buttermilk baking mix (biscuit baking mix, 2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup parsley, minced (fresh)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 425F.

  • Step 2: In a large skillet, sauté ham and onion in butter until onion is tender.

  • Step 3: Combine soup and milk; stir into ham mixture. Add broccoli; heat through.

  • Step 4: Pour into an ungreased shallow 2 1/2-quart baking dish.

  • Step 5: Combine biscuit mix and water until a soft dough forms. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough 10 times. Roll out into a 12-inch square; sprinkle with parsley. Roll up jellyroll-style. Cut into 12 pieces; place over the ham mixture.

  • Step 6: Bake, uncovered, for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden and ham mixture is bubbly.

  • Step 7: Serve.
