Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (8 ounces) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/3 cups sour cream
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 4 medium plum tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar medium or spicy picante sauce (or taco sauce)
  • 2 cups shredded Mexi blend cheese or shredded cheddar cheese
  • Pickled jalapenos (use as much as you like)
  • Canned sliced black olives, drained (use as much as you like)
  • Bacon, cooked and crumbled (use as much as you like)
  • Tortilla or nacho tortilla chips

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a bowl combine all the cream cheese with sour cream; spread in a glass 10-inch deep-dish pie plate or an 11 x 7-inch pan.

  • Step 2: In a large bowl mix the green onions onions with tomatoes and green pepper; sprinkle over the cream cheese layer.

  • Step 3: Pour picante sauce or taco sauce over the tomato mixture.

  • Step 4: Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, jalapenos and black olives.

  • Step 5: Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  • Step 6: Just before serving, sprinkle with warm crumbled bacon.

  • Step 7: Serve with tortilla or taco chips.
